The first album from Australia's favourite sons of beaches and the first installment on a mortgage Australian Crawl took out on local charts and radio in the 1980s. Fired by the distinctive James Reyne drawl, this album went to Number Four and set the standard for the seven years of catchy riffing, wry lyrics and bizarre stage play to come. Reyne's bizarre appearance on Countdown with both arms in plaster after being hit by a car spawned the hit Indisposed, and songs like Boys Light Up and Downhearted established the band as dashing young playboys chasing the perfect girl, the perfect wave and the million dollar riff.
