“Encores” is the brilliant 1993 live EP from British rock legends Dire Straits. The EP was released shortly after their live album "On the Night”, and, although it was an EP, “Encores" was charted on the singles charts of many countries, including France where it debuted at number one. "Encores" was recorded during the "On Every Street Tour" in 1992, this special edition is newly remastered and comes complete with an exclusive 12’’ lithograph of the cover.
Dire Straits were a British rock band formed in London in 1977 by Mark Knopfler (lead vocals and lead guitar), David Knopfler (rhythm guitar and backing vocals), John Illsley (bass guitar and backing vocals) and Pick Withers (drums and percussion). Considered by many to be one of the greatest rock bands of all time, they produced numerous hits in their time and hold a place in fans hearts all over the globe.
