Paul Kelly ‎& The Messengers - So Much Water So Close To Home, Vinyl LP

Paul Kelly's 'So Much Water So Close To Home' followed the album 'Under The Sun', and gave Kelly and his band another Top 10 charting album in Australia.

The title of the album comes from a short story of the same name by American author Raymond Carver, who had passed away in 1988. Kelly would later go on to co-write the score for the 2006 Australian film Jindabyne, which was based on the same story.

The entire album was recorded in the U.S. with producer Scott Litt, who is best known for his work with American band R.E.M.

It peaked at #10 on the Australian ARIA album charts, and included the singles, Sweet Guy, Careless and Most Wanted Man in the World.

Pressed on Classic Black Vinyl.
