Junkyard is the third and final full length studio album by Australian post-punk group The Birthday Party. Originally released in 1982, it was inspired by American Southern Gothic imagery. Critic Ned Raggett (AllMusic) called the album a 'scuzzy masterpiece, with Nick Cave's now demonic vocals in full roar.
